Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur attacking target Hulk has confirmed that he will continue his stay at Zenit St Petersburg after signing a new deal with the club, according to reports from the Express.
The 28-year-old penned a two-year contract extension and will now see his deal expire in 2019, warding off potential moves from interested parties in the summer.
Both the Blues as well as Spurs were previously linked with the Brazilian forward during the summer, as he was close on a move to the Premier League after speculations of an exit.
However, he revealed that he wasn’t at all interested in a move to Stamford Bridge, because he believed that he would have very limited playing time if he chose to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
The club’s official Twitter account revealed the news of Hulk’s contract extension.
