Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that attacking duo Pedro Rodriguez and Willian will miss the clash against Arsenal this weekend, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Willian scored the Blues’ opening goal during their 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday, but not long after the Brazilian was forced off the field carrying a suspected hamstring injury.
This will come as a big blow to Blues boss Mourinho, as before the fixture Pedro was already ruled out with a muscular problem of his own, and the Portuguese gaffer confirmed that both of them are set to miss their crunch fixture against Arsenal on Saturday.
The current Premier League champions have had a nightmare start to campaign, losing three out of their first five games and are already trailing league leaders Manchester City by a massive 11 points.
And the Gunners will be looking to pile on the misery after they lost their Champions League opener 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb.
