Chelsea will be lifted after Eden Hazard has declared himself fit to feature against West Ham United on boxing day as they continue to keep a tight grip in first place, Daily Star reports.
The 23-year-old was asked to be taken off in the final minutes of the 2-0 victory over Stoke City with speculation arising that he was a doubt to feature against the Hammers.
It was believed that Hazard would be out for about two or three weeks and would have been a huge blow for manager Jose Mourinho, especially with the increase number of matches leading up to the new year.
However, the Belgium winger has now confirmed that he will be fit to feature against Sam Allardyce’s men on Friday and looks very likely to be selected in the starting 11.
He said: “I’ll be able to play on Boxing Day.
““I’ll be okay.”
