Chelsea boss admits disappointment at Brazilians form

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his frustration at the form of midfielder Oscar this season, as reported by Sky Sports.

The Brazilian was not in the squad for today’s draw at home to lowly Norwich, another disappointing display from the Blues.

Oscar was one of the top performers at Stamford Bridge last season but he has lost his place in the squad now, something that could harm his World Cup ambitions.

Mourinho has no doubt that his midfielder will make an impact in Brazil this summer but he had hoped he could produce for Chelsea first.

“I think he was our best player for months, from August to November or December. He was absolutely fantastic. And after that he was up and down,” Mourinho explained.

“He arrived in the crucial moment of the season in a down. Injuries, couldn’t train, was trying to arrive to the game but didn’t, was a doubt for the game, the game was too big to play with a doubtful player, so he arrived in the crucial moment of the season in a low.

“I can imagine, in a couple of weeks, he will be in a high and during the World Cup he will be in a high.”
