Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has claimed that he would welcome every Arsenal player at the club if they were to become free agents, according to reports from the Express.
The Blues beat the Gunners 2-0 on Saturday in a heated encounter, with Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard on the scoresheet for the champions while Arsenal pair Gabriel and Santi Cazorla were both sent off.
And after Mourinho told Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to stop whining each time they lost to the Blues, the Portuguese rubbed further salt into his wounds be claiming that the Gunners have a squad full of players capable of winning the Premier League title.
“I like every player from Arsenal,” Mourinho said.
“I tell you, if one of their players is a free agent and they don’t want him there, I get every one. I like all of their players.
“I think Arsenal have the squad to be champions. And every season I feel that.”
The relationship between the two managers has become extremely sour over the past decade, showcased by Wenger quickly walking into the tunnel to avoid shaking hands with Mourinho after the final whistle.
Chelsea have now gained some ground on league leaders Manchester City, who lost their first league game of the campaign 2-1 to West Ham United at the Etihad.
