Chelsea boss laughs off Manchester United job rumours

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has ruled himself out of the running to be the next Manchester United manager, as reported by talkSPORT.

Mourinho was heavily linked with the job last season when Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement, but David Moyes stepped in and Mourinho went back to Chelsea.

The Blues gaffer has not enjoyed the last few months at Stamford Bridge but is set to stay on with the Champions League final still in their hands.

Mourinho was not pleased when asked about taking over at Old Trafford when Ryan Giggs’s caretaker duties end in the summer and has vowed to not leave Chelsea until he is pushed out of the door, like last time.

“Of course not. I don’t know how somebody can think about it,” Mourinho said, when asked if there was a chance he could join United.

“I left Real Madrid specifically to come to Chelsea. I signed a four-year contract and told Chelsea fans they never have to worry about me because I don’t want to leave here until the club wants.”
