Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has warned rivals Arsenal, Manchester United, and Man City that star striker Diego Costa is now back to his best, Daily Star reports.
The Spain international has been struggling with niggling injuries, causing him to suffer a mini-goal drought the past few weeks.
However Costa bagged Chelsea’s second in their 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday and Mourinho believes that his title rivals should be in fear of the former Atletico Madrid man.
Mourinho said: “You feel Diego played against Hull with happiness in his legs, no problems, no fears.
“Running, chasing, looking for movement, pressing opponents.”
Meanwhile the ‘Special One’ has confirmed that ahead of their Capital One Cup game against Derby, only Gary Cahill is set to be left out of the squad.
“I will pick the best possible team,” he added.
“We have no reason to rest people, everybody goes. The only one that is not going is Cahill, but that is only because he played against Sporting Lisbon last week. So I will play Kurt Zouma.
“We are going to play against a top team in the Championship. The difference between a top team in the Championship and Premier League teams is very, very small. We played there last season and it was not easy.”
