Chelsea dealt blow as 26-goal striker set to snub £9.4m move

Chelsea looks to have been dealt a huge blow in their chase for Andrej Kramaric after he is said to be on his way to join Leicester City, Metro reports.

The 23-year-old HNK Rijeka striker was tipped for a move to Stamford Bridge, but is now believed to have chosen a switch to Leicester as he hopes he can get more playing time at the King Power Stadium.

Kramaric has now flown to London to negotiate the terms of his £9.4million transfer and it seems that he fears a halt in progression if Jose Mourinho signs him and then loans him out.

The Blues boss has sign a number of young players during his time in charge, most of them being loaned out to a number of European sides with the intentions of further expanding their development.

The Croatia international currently has a very impressive scoring tally, netting 26 goals in 25 games for his club so far this season, attracting huge interest from Mourinho.
