Wigan have rejected a third bid from Chelsea for star forward Victor Moses, The Sun report.
The Blues have been monitoring the Latics attacker, who played a key part in Roberto Martinez’s men staying in the Premier League last term.
However, Moses has stated that he sees his future away from the DW Stadium, and wants to get a switch to a bigger club.
With the Stamford Bridge side in the process of revamping their squad, Roberto Di Matteo has made a number of bids for the Nigeria international.
It is believed that the latest offer is in the £5 million mark, but Dave Whelan has stated that this is not enough for Wigan to sell.
“They’ve made three bids and we’ve not accepted any. We’re still hoping that he signs an extended deal.
“They’ve all come in the last three weeks but they’ve not offered enough. I don’t know if they’ll bid again but if they do we always listen.
“And if it is what Roberto believes is what he is worth then we will take it from there,” he concluded.
Chelsea have already signed Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne so far this summer, and are closing in on a deal for Brazil international Oscar also.
