Chelsea hit with bad news as target tempted by new contract

Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan is potentially going to sign a new contract with his club AS Roma after his agent has recently met with the club, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian has leapt further up the club’s priorities after they lost another midfield star in the past week with Miralem Pjanic moving to Juventus and it looks as though they will be moving to secure Nainggolan’s future to the club on a longer term basis as several other European clubs prepare to swoop.

Antonio Conte is believed to be an admirer of the tenacious midfielder and would surely like to add him to the current Chelsea squad that has looked extremely thin in that position with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic struggling for form last season.

However, Roma are currently not willing to listen to some of Nainggolan’s potentially unreasonable demands, although they may be willing to increase the bonuses that are currently in place.
