Chelsea and Manchester City have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos this summer, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Ramos has been recently linked with an exit following a contract stand-off, with the La Liga giants unwilling to meet the Spain international’s £10million-a-year salary demands.
His disagreement has therefore alerted long-term suitors Man United, with the Red Devils desperately looking for a world class defender in the transfer market.
But United are not the only club keeping an eye on Ramos, as Chelsea and Manchester City are also considering a move for the 29-year-old.
It has been suggested that Man United are looking to make a £20million bid, but Real are demanding an offer closer to the £50million region.
Ramos signed for Real Madrid from Sevilla in the summer of 2005, and has been a mainstay for the 10-time European Cup winners.
The centre-back played 42 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
