Chelsea legend in no mood to hang up boots

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has confirmed that he wants to continue playing for at least another two years, as reported by Sky Sports.

The 35 year old has played a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge this season under Jose Mourinho and could leave the club on a free this summer.

Lampard scored against Stoke yesterday, taking his club tally to 250 goals, but is unlikely to start against Paris St Germain in midweek where Chelsea need to come back from a 3-1 defeat from the first leg.

The former West Ham boy could leave West London this summer unless he is offered a new deal but the England man is adamant that his career is not coming to an end.

“I am enjoying playing my football, I am loving it and seeing the development of the new squad and you become and older hand and help them, I am enjoying the role,” said Lampard.

“I have always said I want to play for another two or three years, at the minute and as long as I am fit and feeling fresh I will do that.”
