Manchester United star Matteo Darmian believes Chelsea will be in good hands if they appoint Italy boss Antonio Conte in the summer, Football Italia reports.
The 26-year-old featured the full 90 minutes for Italy last night in their 1-1 friendly draw with Spain as they prepare for Euro 2016.
He came out to back his national team boss to do well in the Premier League as he will quickly adapt to the style of football in England.
“I think Conte will do well in England,” he said.
“He has already proved that he is a great Coach and will have no problem adapting to English football.”
With Blues interim manager Guus Hiddink set to depart at the end of the season, Conte is believed to have already agreed a deal to take over at Stamford Bridge.
It is expected that he will resign from the Italy position at the end of the upcoming European championship before making his way to London.
Darmian completed his move from Torino during the previous summer window and has already featured 34 times in all competitions for the Red Devils this term.
