Chelsea have made an enquiry over a potential move to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose, according to reports from the Mirror.
The 25-year-old has now emerged as another target for manager Jose Mourinho as he continues his search for a new left-back following the departure of Filipe Luis.
Luis failed to hold down a regular role throughout the previous campaign as he later decided to make a return to Atletico Madrid.
Mourinho has also been linked with Augsburg star Abdul Baba Rahman, who is currently valued at around the £17million region.
The Blues are said to be willing to pay about £15million to sign the Spurs star this summer to help increase their manager’s options in the full-back positions.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping the player remains at White Hart Lane, but his exit could clear room for second-choice defender Ben Davies to fill the role.
Rose featured in 28 league matches last term, scoring a total of three goals while providing a further four assists.
