Chelsea make two-year offer to sign 35-goal striker this summer

Chelsea have made an offer to Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, according to reports from FootMercato.

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes the past few weeks, with the Sweden international not wanting to extend his contract with the Ligue-1 champions.

The 34-year-old scored four goals in a 9-0 win over Troyes to clinch the French top flight during the weekend, and now clubs are lining up to bring ‘Zlatan’ to their respective sides.

The former Barcelona striker has already revealed his intention to leave, publicly claiming that PSG will need to replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of himself to convince him to stay.

Manchester United and AC Milan are both keen on his signature, but it looks as if the Blues have already submitted a two-year contract offer worth £19.64million.

Despite his age, Ibrahimovic’s arrival will be a coup for any club, with the attacker scoring 35 goals in just 39 games in all competitions this term.
