Chelsea midfielder not ruling out title challenge

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has vowed to keep fighting for the title as the Blues travel to Liverpool today, as reported by the Evening Standard.

Lampard starts for Chelsea today and is up for ruining Liverpool’s title procession at Anfield.

The experienced England international is set to be offered a new one year deal at the end of the season and is in the hunt for a seat on the plane to Brazil in Roy Hodgson’s squad.

Lampard has been there and done it as far as winning the league is concerned, and he is not thinking about anything else right now.

“All we can do is win our three games and hope results go our way,”

It’s not in our hands. But we’re not a club that’s going to sit back and accept anything. We have to try and win and see where that takes us.

“We’ve got in it in us to go and get results. Liverpool have had a fantastic season and it’s a tough set of games but if you want to be successful and to fight on different levels, as we do, then you have to stand up and do it.”
