Spanish giants Barcelona are believed to be be joining the race to sign Chelsea’s Eden Hazard after the attacking midfielder was left out of the first team against Norwich, Metro reports.
Recent comments made by the Belgian winger about Jose Mourinho’s tactics caused some tensions in the Blues camp as the manager left him out of the starting line up claiming Hazard “wasn’t willing to sacrifice himself for the team”.
The conflict between the pair started after Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat at the Atletico Madrid, knocking them out of the Champions League with the midfielder partly being blamed for two of the goals his team lost.
According to reports from Spain, the 23-year-old’s place in the squad could be at stake as Barcelona are currently monitoring his situation with hopes of luring him to the Nou Camp.
The Catalan giants aren’t the only club to be keeping a close eye on Chelsea’s player of the season with Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain also staying alert.
A move could actually take place with sources close to the player stating that a transfer is a definite possibility.
