Chelsea are planning to make a £33.7million offer to sign Real Madrid star Isco before the end of the transfer window, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The Blues have got their season off to an awful start in their defence of the Premier League title, drawing Swansea 2-2 at home before being crushed 3-0 by last year’s runners up Manchester City on Sunday.
And with the media storm surrounding Stamford Bridge over manager Jose Mourinho’s treatment of his medical staff, the Portuguese boss is looking to bring in Isco to alleviate some of their early season woes.
The 25-year-old has found it tough to consistently start for Real, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and James Rodriguez ahead of him in the pecking order.
Chelsea will travel to the Hawthornes to face West Bromwich Albion in their next fixture, and will hope to collect their first win of the campaign.
