Chelsea are trying to lure Terence Kongolo away from Manchester City as they join a number of European sides chasing the Feyenoord starlet, Express reports.
Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Southampton are all believed to also be monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old as the January window draws closer and closer.
City have a slight advantage for his signature because Kongolo’s younger brother Rodney is currently playing his way through the club’s youth academy.
However, interest from a team like the Blues could be a strong temptation for the Dutch international to turn his back on Manchester and accept a switch to London instead.
In regards to United and Southampton, Louis van Gaal recently worked with him during his time as manager of the Netherlands national team while he also previously played under Ronald Koeman when he was in charge at Feyenoord.
