Chelsea are prepared to sell star man Eden Hazard if their asking price of £84.2million is met amid interest from Real Madrid, according to reports from the Metro.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge the past few weeks following a disastrous start to the campaign, with the winger reportedly also falling out with manager Jose Mourinho after he was benched back in October.
This has therefore seen La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid monitor the situation, with Spanish source Fichajes claiming that the Blues will accept a bid of £84.2million for the Belgium international.
The 24-year-old was the PFA Player of the Year last term as Mourinho’s men easily marched to become English champions, but his and the team’s form have dropped significantly this season.
With Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich looking to reinvigorate the squad, the club could sell Hazard and use the additional funds to bring in targets like Antoine Griezmann next summer.
