Chelsea are plotting a £110million double summer deal to reinforce their squad with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba, according to BuzzSport, as reported by the Daily Star.
The two France internationals are amongst the names being linked with a squad overhaul at Stamford Bridge following their disastrous start to the current Premier League campaign.
Despite behind crowned champions of England last season, the Blues now find themselves 15th on the league table, three points away from the relegation zone.
Former boss Jose Mourinho was recently sacked by the club, with Guus Hiddink being appointed as interim manager until the end of the campaign.
With the pair likely to cost around the £110million region, the club may need to consider the sale of star winger Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in order to fund the transfer.
Griezmann has also caught the eye of Manchester United during the summer, with the club likely to rival Chelsea to the services of the Atletico forward should he become available.
