Chelsea have been boosted by the news that Diego Costa, Loic Remy, and Didier Drogba could all be fit to face Arsenal this weekend, according to reports from the Independent.
Drogba picked up an ankle injury following the Blues’ 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday, leaving manager Jose Mourinho short of three strikers ahead of their clash against the Gunners, as Costa and Remy were already sidelined.
However, it seems that all three could be fit with Costa not featuring for Chelsea since April 4, and Remy already sitting out two games in order to recover from his knock.
Costa has been suffering from hamstring problems for much of the campaign, but the Spain striker is positive he can be fit for the London derby after Mourinho revealed he is set for an early comeback.
The 27-year-old is currently the Blues’ top scorer with 19 goals, and will hope to add to his tally to catch up with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane, who are on 20 apiece.
