Wigan Athletic youngster Victor Moses

Chelsea are ready to up their offer for Victor Moses to £7.5 million, which will be their last bid for the attacker according to The Daily Mail.

The Blues are in the process of strengthening their squad with young talent, and have already secured the signings of Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Kevin De Bruyne and Oscar this summer.

The Latics attacker is also in Roman Abramovich's gaze, and as such the Stamford Bridge club have made a number of bids for the forward, only to see them rejected by the Premier League side.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has repeatedly stated that he is eager to recoup £10 million for the Nigeria international, with Chelsea's bids falling short of this to date.

The Blues are ready to offer £7.5 million in a final attempt to sign Moses, but it is believed that Roberto Martinez's men will stand firm once more and turn the offer down.

Moses has one year remaining on his contract at the DW Stadium and has admitted previously that he is eager to move to a bigger club.
