Chelsea star Petr Cech has agreed personal terms in principle with Arsenal ahead of a potential summer move, according to reports from Sky Sports.
The 33-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge ever since Thibaut Courtois returned from his impressive loan spell at Atletico Madrid last year.
And Courtois went on to usurp the Czech Republic international as the Blues’ number one goalkeeper, which has seen Cech only make seven league appearances in their title-winning campaign.
However, negotiations will continue as both sides have not concurred on a transfer fee, which is set to be a cash only deal after Chelsea’s request for Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain as part of the transaction was turned down by the Gunners.
Cech spent the last 11 years with the current Premier League champions, winning four league titles, four FA Cups, one Europa League medal, and a Champions League trophy.
