Reports have circulated that one of Chelsea’s stars would rather lose for the current manager than push for a victory, indicating a huge rift in the dressing room.

And Fabregas is one of the names being mentioned, however the Spain international has come out on Twitter to publicly deny these suggestions that he is at heads with the former Real Madrid boss.

He wrote: “I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports from some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager.  There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.”

Several other players have also expressed their loyalty to Mourinho despite his recent silly rants at referees and his opponents, but the Portuguese’s job security is in major doubt due to the trigger happy Chelsea hierarchy.

It looked as if Mourinho was set to be fired after their loss to Liverpool last weekend, yet it seems as if he has been given one last chance to turn things around.
