Chelsea captain John Terry is still looking to earn himself another 12-month extension on his contract despite losing his first team place in recent weeks, Daily Mail reports.
The 34-year-old has recently been benched and replaced by Kurt Zouma, who is slowly establishing himself as the perfect partner for Gary Cahill.
Zouma has now featured the full 90 minutes from his last five consecutive games and even managed to get himself on the score sheet against title rivals Arsenal at the weekend.
It is believed that Fenerbahce are keeping a close eye on the situation of Terry and could be attempting to lure him to their side should he fail to be given a new extension.
In addition to the club skipper, the Turkish giants are also considering the idea of adding Branislav Ivanovic to their side.
The Serbia international is also being criticised for his recent drop in performance, especially after he emerged as one of the key defenders for manager Jose Mourinho last term.
