Chelsea star John Obi Mikel warned players at Manchester United over the possible appointment of former boss Jose Mourinho, Daily Star reports.
The 28-year-old lost his place under the Portuguese manager before the Blues board eventually decided to sack him due to their huge decline in form.
However, Mourinho is now heavily tipped to take over from United boss Louis van Gaal in the summer after the side dropped out of the top four.
Mikel has admitted that his former manager will always find a way to blame somebody despite how well they do, while also praising current boss Guus Hiddink for giving him confidence once again.
“Even if you do things right he would always make sure he finds fault,” he said.
“Confidence is everything. Hiddink came in, he spoke to me and gave me the confidence.”
The Nigeria international was linked with a move to China after losing his place in the squad, but could be set to stay after proving his worth under Hiddink.
He has featured 26 times in all competitions for Chelsea this term, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
