Chelsea star Eden Hazard was forced off the field with an injury during his side’s victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Hazard started the fixture for the Blues but only lasted for a total of 16 minutes, picking up a groin problem and was substituted with Pedro Rodriguez.
However, Guus Hiddink’s men did not need Hazard as they brushed aside Palace with an emphatic 3-0 victory, with Oscar, WIllian, and Diego Costa getting on the score-sheet.
But after just recently being praised by Hiddink prior to the game, the Dutch manager will be hoping that the injury is less severe heading into the second half of the season.
Hazard will undergo scans early this week in order to find the severity of the problem, and Hiddink hopes he will be available for Chelsea’s next three games at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old won the PFA Player of the Year accolade last season, but has yet to find the back of the net for the champions this term.
