Chelsea veteran Petr Cech is being linked with a move to Inter Milan despite heavy interest from Liverpool, according to reports from the Metro.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper has lost his place to teammate Thibaut Courtois at the beginning of the season, as manager Jose Mourinho opted to look towards the future with the 22-year-old.
Cech’s desire to leave Stamford Bridge for first team football has also alerted Arsenal, but it is likely that he will snub a move to a direct rival.
Inter are lining up the Czech Republic international to replace current keeper Samir Handanovic, who is still unable to agree terms amid contract extension talks.
Mourinho is said to be more open to sending his former number one away from the Premier League.
The keeper also admitted last month that he is unwilling to serve as a rotation option to Courtois, something that he is currently doing this season.
“I don’t know what the club’s idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo. But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this,” he said.
