Chelsea are believed to have opened talks with Willian over a possible extension after he was one of the standout performers this season, Evening Standard reports.
The 27-year-old continued to impress despite the fact that a number of his teammates have struggled to replicate the form which saw them be crown champions of England earlier this year.
He is currently being paid about £80,000-a-week, but is set to be rewarded for his fine form with a new £100,000-a-week deal to ensure his stay until at least 2020.
The Blues currently find themselves sitting 15th on the Premier League table after picking up four wins, two draws, and seven losses so far this term.
Willian is now the team’s top scorer with five goals as the champions continue their advances to retain the services of a number of their star players.
Apart from the Brazil international, the club have also seen Eden Hazard agree a deal in February, while Ramires only signed a new contract last month.
