Chelsea star Eden Hazard is set to extend his current contract by signing a mega £200-a-week deal, according to the Telegraph.
The Belgian international has been superb form for the Blues since his arrival from Lille back in 2012, and looks close to bagging a lucrative new deal in the coming weeks.
Hazard’s agents have been in negotiations with the Chelsea hierarchy for several months, with the attacking midfielder likely to sign before the end of the year.
Blues manager Jose Mourinho is hoping that Hazard’s future is settled quickly, with French giants Paris Saint-Germain heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old in the past few transfer windows.
The deal will make Hazard the highest paid player at Stamford Bridge, which should fend off any interest from PSG, who face the Blues in the Champions League round of sixteen.
Chelsea are still on the course of winning four trophies this season, and Hazard’s performances will be key if they are to achieve the Quadruple.
