Chelsea are ready to step up their chase to sign Galatasaray star Alex Telles as a potential replacement for Filipe Luis, according to reports from the Metro.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has also been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid following his displays in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
Luis is close to an Atletico Madrid return despite only joining the club last summer as he was unable to overtake Cesar Azpilicueta to the left-back role.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is also keeping an eye on Augsburg star Abdul Rahman Baba, who was said to be closing in on a £15million switch to Stamford Bridge.
However, the Portuguese manager looks to have now turned his attentions to Telles, with the full-back tipped to become another addition to the squad’s Brazilian contingent.
He featured a total of 36 times in all competitions for his side last term, scoring one goal and providing another one assists.
