Chelsea striker will wait until after World Cup to make transfer decision

Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku has admitted that he wants to focus on the World Cup before thinking about his club future, as reported by London24.

The Belgian hitman is set to be the main man for his country this summer in attack as they go to Brazil as one of the dark horses for the tournament.

Having initially spent a season on loan at West Brom, Lukaku impressed for a season at Everton last term and the Toffees are keen to snap him up on a permanent deal.

The 21 year old is also wanted by Tottenham but rivals Chelsea are yet to decide whether to keep their man or not.

Lukaku has admitted that the World Cup has to be the only thing in his mind at the moment but once that is over – he will make a decision on his own future.

“I’ve not thought about my future club for next season,” he told RTBF.

“For me the most important thing is the World Cup.

“I am 100 per cent focused on it – after that, the rest will follow.”
