Chelsea are monitoring Crystal Palace star Scott Dann, as they see him as a possible replacement for club captain John Terry, Mirror reports.
The 27-year-old is said to have been watched by scouts from the Blues over the majority of the campaign, as they consider a move for his services.
Dann could also see the current Premier League champions double his £60,000-a-week salary to lure him to Stamford Bridge.
Despite signing a new five-year deal with the Eagles last year, Chelsea are expected to step up their chase for the centre-back at the end of the current campaign.
With Terry already 35-years-old, the club have started plotting moves for a potential replacement, but they still value him as a huge asset for the squad.
He recently scored a 98th minute equalizer in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Everton this past weekend, and is believed to be targeting another one-year deal in hopes of finishing his career with the club.
