Atletico Madrid have slapped a £50 million price tag on striker Radamel Falcao's head, amid interest from Chelsea according to The Daily Mail.

The Colombia international has been in blistering form for the capital-city side this term, and scored a brace in the Europa League final against Athletic Bilbao last week.

With Didier Drogba out of contract in the summer and likely to leave Stamford Bridge, the west London club are keen to bring in a tried and tested centre forward to fire them back into Premier League contention.

Chelsea are thought to be ready to offer a player-plus-cash deal, with £15 million and Fernando Torres on the table.

Diego Simeone's men are thought to prefer a cash only deal, but may be tempted by the opportunity to bring former hero Torres back to the Vicente Calderon.
