Chelsea target John Stones is being tipped to leave Everton by former club star Kevin Kilbane for around the £50million region, Daily Star reports.
The 21-year-old was heavily linked with an exit during the summer, but despite the Blues tabling four offers for his services, his transfer was continuously rejected.
Apart from the current Premier League champions, Arsenal and Manchester United have also shown interest in the centre-back heading into the January window.
Kilbane was full of praise for the defender given his consistent displays for the Toffees so far this season and has also tipped him complete a mega move to a European giant in the future.
“The reason why I’m looking at it [£50m] is because of the level that he’s shown this season,” he said.
“He’s composed on the ball, he’s so good on the ball stepping in.
“That’s why you can’t rule out a Barcelona or Real Madrid for him – or a Bayern – because he is that good.
“He has been linked with these clubs over the last couple of months, I’ve seen those names mentioned for him because he is that good.”
However, based on the recent handling of the player during the summer, the Toffees are still expected to reject all incoming bids for the defender.
