Chelsea are being tipped by former striker Tony Cascarino to continue their bad form against rivals Arsenal this weekend, according to reports from the Express.
The current Premier League champions have started their title defence very badly, registering only one win from their last five matches.
Things could get even worse if Newcastle United beat West Ham United tonight, as a win for the Magpies will send the Blues into the relegation zone with only four points so far.
Cascarino revealed that his former team’s defensive has been well under-par, hinting that the Gunners are currently looking the stronger side.
“I’m not convinced by what I have seen from Chelsea defensively. If you are leaking an average of two goals a game, you are in trouble as a team,” he told talkSPORT
“At the moment, Chelsea are having to score three and maybe even four goals to win a football match. It doesn’t feel like Chelsea have got enough to get over Arsenal.”
Manager Jose Mourinho is now feeling the pressure as it was said that he had a slight clash with Everton boss Roberto Martinez ahead of his post-match interview.
They now have a chance to bounce back from their recent slump when they host Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League group stages on Wednesday.
