Chelsea are set to make a bid for Augsburg defender Abdul Baba Rahman as a replacement for Filipe Luis, who is expected to leave the club this summer, according to the Express.
Luis only joined the Premier League champions from Atletico Madrid last year, but the Brazilian has struggled for regular football during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Now reports have suggested that Luis is already looking at a return to Spain, which could force Blues boss Jose Mourinho to look for a replacement.
And it seems that Baba Rahman is the player Mourinho is looking to sign this summer following an impressive season in the German Bundesliga.
Only 20 years old, Mourinho sees the Ghana international as the perfect understudy to first-choice left-back Cesar Azpilicueta, and the Portuguese manager will be pushing for his transfer before the start of the new campaign.
Rahman has been valued at £15million after a season in which he played 31 league games, making five assists.
