Chelsea are not giving up on their attempts to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton and are willing to throw in Asmir Begovic and Loic Remy to any potential deal, according to The Sun.
The Blues are keen to bring their former striker back to Stamford Bridge this summer but the Merseysiders are digging their heels in and want to keep the Belgian at Goodison Park.
Everton resisted Chelsea’s advances for John Stones last summer and it is believed that Ronald Koeman’s men are not willing to negotiate with the West London side this time around either.
With Antonio Conte’s men struggling to convince the Toffees to part company with the striker, a player exchange deal is now being touted.
Chelsea are said to be willing to throw in Remy and Begovic to sweeten the deal, which could give Koeman two high-quality recruits, as well as a sizeable fee for Lukaku, ahead of the new campaign.
