Chelsea train twice a day, as new signing starts life at club

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has the Premier League champions training twice a day in advance of the new season, with the latest addition to his squad, Brazilian forward Kenedy, joining the group, according to The Daily Mail.

The Blues won a domestic double last season, claiming the moniker of English champions as well as prevailing in the Capital One Cup, but will have plenty of teams looking to knock them off their perch next term.

The West London outfit are embarking on a pre-season tour of North America in preparation for their campaign opener against Swansea, with a new addition to Mourinho’s contingent.

Brazilian forward Kenedy is on the verge of penning a deal to join the Blues, with the £6.3million Fluminense attacker taking part in training with his new club.

The highly-rated starlet arrives in England with a burgeoning reputation, but it remains to be seen yet whether he will fit into the first team squad immediately or, more likely, be sent out on loan.
