Chelsea are willing to pay up to £50million in order to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba this summer, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Juventus Stadium in recent months following another impressive campaign for the Italian giants.
The Frenchman won his third Serie A title and helped his side reach the Champions League final after knocking Real Madrid out of the competition on Wednesday.
His performances have therefore attracted a lot of interest, with the Blues extremely keen on signing the dynamic midfielder.
However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is unwilling to spend ‘silly fees’ for star players, and has set a £50m ceiling for Pogba.
The Blues will also need to be careful of Financial Fair Play regulations, especially with no big name players expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Pogba, who is also a target for former club Manchester United, has played 36 games in all competitions this season, scoring ten goals and supplying ten assists.
