The last two Premier League winners go head to head at Stamford Bridge this afternoon and we are expecting to see a hugely rotated Manchester City side, as they prepare for their fixture with Dynamo Kyiv in midweek.
Manuel Pellegrini has been damning in his comments of this fixture, although he must be hoping he can scrape through this fixture to continue his attempts for a silverware laden final season at the 2014 champions. Guus Hiddink is also leaving his current job in the summer and, like he did in 2009, will be hoping for Cup success.
The Dutchman is unbeaten in domestic fixtures during his second spell at the Blues and Chelsea go into this game as overwhelming favourites considering the team that we are expecting from Manuel Pellegrini. Chelsea, on the other hand, are likely to field an in-form Diego Costa and will take confidence from their performance in Paris in midweek, despite defeat.
