Chelsea have tabled a £29million offer in their attempts to sign Arsenal target Paulo Dybala from Palermo, according to reports from the Metro.
The 21-year-old striker has caught the eye of several top European sides with some impressive displays over the course of the Serie A campaign.
His agent has already confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have both tabled offers for the Argentine striker.
“Paris St Germain have already come forward with an offer of about £32.5m and Chelsea had already reached £29m,” he said.
“We’re now at the stage where the price cannot be lower than £36m.”
Despite his price tag being raised, it is likely that more clubs will enter the race for his signature when the upcoming transfer window opens, which could spark a bidding war for his services.
The attacker dubbed the ‘New Sergio Aguero’ has started 30 league games for the Rosanero, scoring 13 goals and providing a further 10 assists so far this season.
