Wigan Athletic's South Korea midfielder Cho Won-Hee is hoping to make a loan move away from the Premier League club in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has made just three appearances as a substitute so far this season and is concerned that a lack of action could hinder his hopes of earning a place at next summer's World Cup finals.
Cho's management agency, Tenplus Sports, told the Korean media:"Cho and manager Roberto Martinez have agreed that it would be best if he leaves to join another team on a loan deal.
"Martinez wants Cho to improve his form and fitness before he could consider giving him more playing time, while Cho is keen to get on the pitch on a more regular basis.
"We are looking for a club for him to join and we believe a team in the English Championship would suit him best."
