Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch has warned his team-mates not to get too carried away by their 9-1 thrashing of Wigan Athletic at White Hart Lane last weekend.
The astonishing result lifted Spurs up to fourth place in the Premier League table, with Crouch and co determined to launch a major assault of qualification for next season's Champions League.
Crouch commented:"If you can't take confidence from a game like that, then I don't know where you can, it's the type of match everyone wants to play in.
"As for the top four we just have to keep plugging away. We all believe there is enough ability to get in there, but we don't want to talk too much, we want to do that talking on the pitch.
"We have made a bit of a statement with that result, but we have to keep going along with all the other games and see.
"People will look and that result and say 'oh my God' Spurs are flying, people are going to take notice, but the objective is always to get three points."
