The Crystal Palace manager is full of confidence before the Eagles’ FA Cup this weekend, reports the Daily Mail.
The Palace players were treated to a few days of Spanish sun this week, with the FA Cup fixture this weekend likely to define the remainder of their season. The Eagles are yet to win a Premier League game in 2016 and the cup looks like their only chance of success after early season hopes of Europa League football.
Pardew, as reported by the Mail, was inspired by Steve Coppell, who took a squad containing Pardew abroad for training before their 1990 Cup final. Palace joined several other clubs in going for a few days abroad, with both Newcastle and Stoke taking the opportunity to fly their players away from the dreary British skies.
Crucially, Palace expect to have Yannick Bolasie back in the squad and Pardew hopes that this, along with the warm weather training, can inspire the side before the big London derby in the cup.
