Crystal Palace boss laughs off Cardiff ‘spygate’ claims

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has claimed that he can prove his innocents over Cardiff City’s spygate drama, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Cardiff have formerly reported Palace to the Premier League after former Bluebirds sporting director Iain Moody, now of the Eagles, allegedly obtained the Cardiff team sheet days before their clash in South Wales.

Palace won the game comfortably and now Cardiff want action taken, whether it be a points deduction or a replay of the game.

Pulis though has claimed that he had his team picked five days before the game and did not change that XI all week long in training.

‘It has been disappointing that they (Cardiff) have been dropping stuff out to the press,’ Pulis said.

‘If we have to go up and meet the Premier League, or whoever it is that we have to meet, then we’ll do it in the right and proper manner. We won’t do it any other way and I think that is important.

‘As a manager and as a coach I log every session that I do, and I’ll be taking those sessions up to the Premier League to show that I picked my team on the Monday before we played Cardiff.

‘That team was worked with for a week and there were no changes whatsoever.’
