Crystal Palace have made a move in their attempts to sign frustrated Chelsea star Loic Remy, Express reports.
The 29-year-old has been struggling to hold down a regular role in the squad ever since his arrival back in the summer of 2014.
He is now considering a departure during the current window as former club Newcastle United and Premier League strugglers Aston Villa look to acquire his services.
First choice striker Diego Costa has been inconsistent so far this season, but looks to have found his form based on his recent performance in the 3-0 win over Palace this past weekend.
Even with Costa not being picked, Eden Hazard is sometimes the preferred makeshift forward, a situation that looks to have forced Remy to push for an exit.
He has only started one league match this season and has featured a further seven times from the bench, so far scoring one goal.
