Crystal Palace are said to be preparing another offer in their attempts to sign Manchester United target Matt Stevens from Barnet, according to reports from the Express.
The 17-year-old has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Swansea City earlier in the year after impressive with 57 goals for his side in a youth tournament.
Swansea were keen on his services during the summer and are believed to have tabled an offer around the region of £250,000, but were rejected by the League Two side.
Palace are said to have also been denied a move for the midfielder after making a similar offer, but are now prepared to raise the amount in order to acquire his services.
Stevens was released by Reading back in 2014 and completed a switch to Barnet after impressing manager Martin Allen with 32 goals for the Under-16 squad at his former club.
Despite joining as a midfielder, Allen managed to get the best out of the player by reverting him into a forward, a move that resulted in him registering a huge number of goals.
