Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has admitted that he is loving being part of the club's first-team plans, and relishes playing in the big games.

After a loan spell at Sunderland last season, the sprightly attacker has returned to Old Trafford and is seemingly now first choice in Sir Alex Ferguson's attacking preferences alongside Wayne Rooney.

Welbeck has spoken of his delight at featuring so heavily for The Red Devils, and wants to cap off a good individual season with the Premier League crown.

"I'm so hungry. I was just talking about it before in the canteen with Tom Cleverley. Clevz was biting his fork as well as his food and growling. We both want it so much," he told Inside United.

"I don't think anybody understands how hungry we are for this title. We want to fulfil our dreams, win the title and keep winning and keep winning. There's nothing going to stop us.

"These are exciting times. I feel I'm actually a part of it, playing in these big games, and every single point counts. I'm going out there every weekend and playing in these games – there's nothing better than that. It's so exciting and you want to win so badly.

"You've just got to be confident within yourselves to know that once you come to these games, you're going to win and get the points. If we win every single game then we'll win the league, and that's what we're always looking to do," he concluded.

Meanwhile, United have contacted Athletico Bilbao over ticket prices for their Europa League last 16 tie at San Mames, after the Spanish outfit issued a price of £77.50 per head for the game in Basque country.
